We fight hunger on three continents with water projects for small-scale farmers.
In the past 20 years, we built around 20,000 small irrigation systems and continuously improved our work
Sustainable because locally adapted
Since our solutions are based on local materials and indigenous crafts in each country, small-scale farmers can rely on local resources after we leave. This ensures project success in long term.
An external study conducted in Tanzania in 2009 showed that small-scale farmers can signif-icantly reduce their workload due to our small-scale irrigation systems, allowing them to dou-ble their yield per hectare and to save working time for irrigation.
